Heroic 10-man Newport IW stunned Alresford Town in the 2nd qualifying round of the FA Vase at St Georges Park today after being 0-1 down with 10 men in the 90th minute. Substitute Tom McInnes pounced in the 93rd minute to equalise and he scored again in extra-time to put Newport through.

They travel to either Swanage or United Services Portsmouth on October 13th in the 1st Round Proper. Full match report to follow this evening.
