Fire crews tackle small Ryde blaze

Firefighters have extinguished a small blaze on The Strand in Ryde.

Crews were called to the scene at around four o clock on Saturday afternoon, to reports of a fire in a garage.

Three appliances were on the scene, but crews used one hose to douse the flames.

The fire was extinguished by ten past four.
