Heights refurb progressing

Heights refurb progressing
By Matt White Tue, 11 September 2012 10:02AM

The multi-million pound refurbishment of The Heights remains on course for its October completion.

The first phase of the project to build a new ToneZone gym and refurbish the main swimming pool and changing rooms at the Sandown leisure centre is expected to be ready by October 15.

The work was originally due to finished by June but was delayed because the roof above the swimming pools had to be replaced.

The Isle of Wight Council today (Tuesday) published photographs of the work, ahead of next month's opening.
