Bestival organisers have responded to the coach crash in Surrey, which has killed and injured people on their way home from the event.
The coach, believed to be returning to Merseyside from the Isle of Wight, was travelling on the A3 near Hindhead when it left the road and hit a tree.
Police say three people were pronounced dead at the scene, while one person has been airlifted to hospital with 'life changing injuries'.
In a statement, Bestival organisers said; 'This is devastating news.
'Our thoughts are with all those affected by this tragic incident.
'We are currently liaising with Surrey Police to establish the facts'.
Fifty people were taken to hospital. Surrey Police told Isle of Wight Radio that many have been released and are on their way home, while some are being kept in for treatment and scans.
Officers say the northbound carriageway of the A3 will remain closed for as long as it takes to remove the bodies from the bus.
