Lifeboat crews help rescue patient

A woman suffering from a suspected broken ankle has been helped to safety by Bembridge RNLI crews.

Paramedics had to call in the inshore lifeboat, after difficulties in bringing the patient to shore from a rocky area of Priory Bay at 7pm on Sunday (12 August).

The woman was evacuated by sea and taken to an awaiting ambulance on shore.
