Isle of Wight firm Vikoma has announced a new managing director.
Peter Tyler is to take on the role and lead the company's day-to-day operations.
Vikoma International, part of the Energy Environmental Group, designs and manufactures the installation of oil spill containment and recovery equipment. The business has a global reputation for the development of innovative, high performance products to deal with the full range of oil spill scenarios.
Peter is re-joining Vikoma after 12 years, having most recently successfully managed an international sales team in the marine sector.
He will take over from Vikoma’s current managing director Denis Healy, who has held the position for two years, as he moves on to head up Vikoma’s sister company, Rotawave Ltd.

"Peter has a proven track record in developing and implementing international business strategies and growing organisations globally in the marine sector.
