Geoffrey Hughes Dies, aged 68

Keeping Up Appearances star Geoffrey Hughes has died, aged 68, according to his agent.

The actor, who lived on the Isle of Wight, had suffered with prostate cancer.

His agent says Geoffrey died 'peacefully in his sleep' on Friday night.

He gave memorable performances as Onslow in Keeping Up Appearances. His other roles included binman Eddie Yates in Coronation Street, and Twiggy in The Royle Family.
