Investigation Into Criminal Damage at Church

An investigation's underway into a report of criminal damage at a church on the Isle of Wight.
 
Police attended the All Saints Church in Church Place, Freshwater where there were signs of damage to the door of the Bier House.
 
Police Community Support Officer PCSO Mike Thornton of the West Wight Safer Neighbourhoods team said:  "We are appealing for witnesses who noticed anyone acting suspiciously between Wednesday, July 4 and Saturday, July 7."
 
Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact PCSO Thornton at Yarmouth police station by phoning 101.

Information can be given anonymously by phoning the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
