A consultation is underway to shape health and social care services on the Island.
Healthwatch Isle of Wight is being created to replace services currently provided by the Local Involvement Network or (LINk).
By law, it must be set up by May 2013 and the Isle of Wight's is due to launch in April 2012.
It will aim to offer information and advice and will support people wanting to complain about NHS services.
