Ludo Bennett-Jones (right) is greeted by Ellen MacArthur in East Cowes
Sailor Ludo Bennett-Jones has finished his record breaking circum-navigation of Britain in East Cowes this lunchtime (Thursday).
The 21 year old set sail from the Isle of Wight in April, and has taken 76 days, 47 of them at sea, to complete a lap of Great Britain's coastline in a 16 foot Wayfarer dinghy.
As well as being the fastest person to complete the challenge, he is also the youngest.
Ludo has been raising funds for the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, which takes young people sailing to help them regain confidence, on their way to recovery from cancer, leukemia and other serious illnesses.
Ellen MacArthur, who circumnavigated Britain aged 19, welcomed Ludo back onto shore this morning.
It's hoped that the challenge will raise £100,000 for the charity.
