Three students from Christ the King College in Carisbrooke are preparing to carry the Olympic Torch this Saturday.
15 -year-old Christina Loosemore and two fellow students are part of a group of 15 Islanders who have been chosen.
12- year- old Eden Crumplin was nominated by her PE Teacher for her love of sport and willingness to help out. She’ll walk a stretch through Lymington.
"I thought the world ended when I fell ill and she said no, there's things I can do. My aspiration is to get to the 2016 Paralympics. My mum thought if I carry the torch it's that one step nearer and I will find out I can do it.
