The Isle of Wight weather is set to deteriorate again.
An amber warning which means "be prepared" is in place for the north of the Island, between 3:20pm and 9pm tonight.
A band of heavy showers and thunderstorms accompanied by hail will affect the Isle of Wight. There is an increased risk of localised flooding and disruption to travel, particularly during today's rush hour. The showers should gradually ease from the west this evening., says the Met Office.
On Thursday and Friday all day, a yellow "be aware" warning remains in place for heavy rain.
Isle of Wight Council is advising that sandbags are available in flood-risk areas:
East Cowes – junction of Well Road/Castle Street
Ryde – junction of Westhill Road/Strand
Yarmouth – River Road
Cowes – St Mary’s Car Park
Godshill - Car Park opposite Griffin pub
