The Met Office has extended its latest weather warning to include the Isle of Wight.
Areas of heavy rain will continue to extend north and west across many central and northern parts of England, much of Wales and fringing into south-eastern parts of Northern Ireland, whilst slow moving thundery showers develop across southern parts of England.
It says we should be prepared for the likelihood of surface water flooding and an increasing risk of river flooding.
The warning for the Island is yellow, which means “be prepared”.
The warning was originally valid until midnight tonight but it has now been extended to include all day Saturday.
