Appeal for more witnesses after assault on teenage boy

Detectives are appealing for more witnesses after an assault on a teenage boy was reported at the Isle of Wight Festival.
 
An investigation is continuing into the assault, which happened at between 7pm and 9 pm  on Saturday, June 23, 2012.
 
A 17-year-old boy from the Isle of Wight received injuries to his jaw in the assault, which it’s alleged was carried out by a group. The assault took place between the Blue one campsite and main entrance to the Penny Lane area of the festival site.
 
Detectives from Isle of Wight CID are pursuing several leads and taking statements from witnesses who have contacted police so far.
 
The suspects are described as
- a white man, 19 years old, skinny build, medium length blond hair.
- a white man, 20 years old, large build, light brown blond hair.
