Police have arrested two boys following a fire at three homes in East Cowes.
Officers are treating the fire as arson.
A 12-year-old and 13-year-old were detained by detectives on Sunday. They were questioned on suspicion of arson and bailed until July 19 pending further enquiries.
The fire at the homes at a new development on Church Path started around 5.30pm on Saturday and was put out around 6.45pm.
Police are continuing their appeal for witnesses.
Detective Sergeant John Walton from Newport CID said: "We’re treating the fire as arson.
"Officers from the local Safer Neighbourhoods team have been conducting house-to-house enquiries in the area and we’ve made two arrests.
"I’d still like to hear from anyone who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area of Church Path and Old Road around the time of the fire."
