Ryde will mark Armed Forces Day on Saturday.
There will be a display of military vehicles and marching bands, say organisers.
Veterans and serving personnel will parade through the town and and there will be a sea rescue display.
The day will end with a proms in the park and a fireworks display.
If you are heading to Ryde, there will be closures in place at Appley Park and the Canoe Lake.
